Forever in focus
Headstart for local art
We’ve recently formed a partnership with Focus London to promote and support local and global creative culture through a series of contemporary art exhibitions.
It’s exciting to be championing and supporting artists from any background but we have to admit there’s an added sweetness when the artists are local. So, we’re very happy to announce that our collaboration begins with a new collection by London Artist Tom Cox.
Tom is quickly gaining recognition for his paintings of our urban landscape. These studies of London capture the character, nuance and physicality of life in the capital. Tom’s work has already featured in the Evening standard and the Guardian and has been tipped as an artist to watch in 2019 by Artists & Illustrators Magazine.
With his sights set firmly on our inaugural exhibition, Tom has been hard at work capturing scenes of the East End and the cultural melting pot that has formed at London’s creative and technological heart.
Expect to see the charm and character of a good old London boozer nestled amongst the city’s gleaming towers of modernity as Tom explores the many hidden gems of Shoreditch and bustling Brick Lane.
Tom’s ‘Shoreditch Collection’ consists of nine new paintings, all of which will be unveiled for the first time on Thursday 11th of April, 6pm sharp at our Forever Beta studios.
There will be free, signed, limited edition prints available for the first 20 guests arriving on the evening as well as complimentary drink for all. 10% of all profits raised will be donated to the Whitechapel Mission, which helps the local homeless with food, shelter, clothing and medical care.
