To promote Jeremy Clarkson’s newest show with Amazon Prime Video, we filled the streets of Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands AND the UK with “Jeremy Clarkson is a F***er” posters. (And by that we of course mean Farmer.)
‘Clarkson’s Farm’ captures Clarkson switching fast cars for tractors and Grand Tours for muddy fields. It’s the same character, in a very different show. We knew our campaign needed to similarly raise eyebrows and subvert expectations. Posters, social posts, DOOH and digital banners are now live across Europe – Amazon’s #1 F***er is everywhere you look.
Our Chief Creative Officer, Paulo Areas said: “Clarkson isn’t everyone’s cup of tea so when we heard he’d bought the farm, we knew it could cheer a lot of people up. Inspired by his controversial persona the F***er campaign was born.”
